Wedding Spotlight: Mallory & Murray

We at Mazzone Hospitality have hosted countless beautiful weddings at the Hall of Springs. Yet, it was the wedding of Mallory and Murray on Saturday, September 17th 2016 that truly was one of the most extraordinary weddings Mazzone Hospitality has ever had the opportunity to be a part of.

To begin, a little bit about the couple’s history.  The Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) holds a special place in Mallory and Murray’s heart as the place they met years ago serving on the Junior Committee.  As this space was such an integral part of their love story, they both knew they wanted to incorporate SPAC and the Hall of Springs into their big day.

When they approached Mazzone Hospitality we were delighted to work with both families to create a 100% customized menu.  Every effort was taken to ensure selections reflected their sentimentality to the venue and unique taste. In the end, the bride and groom and their lucky guests got a completely unforgettable experience.

With the creative help of Colin Cowie Productions for the decors and florals, Rain or Shine for the tenting and flooring, and Elario Photography for capturing the big day, we at Mazzone are beyond excited to show you the results on today’s post!

It started with the delectable cocktail hour. This menu was a mix of passed hors d’oeuvres such as Watermelon Radish Taco, Long Island Fluke and an Assorted Raw Bar.  Also included was a Late Summer Harvest and our “Salmon Three Ways” stations.

The stunning environment for the cocktail hour began in this beautiful tent on the grand lawn.  With furniture and flowers set up in front of the reflecting pond – it was just mesmerizing.  Can you believe how gorgeous the “M & M” flower wall was? This was the first thing guests saw as they walked in.

Beautiful tent, furniture and flowers set up in front of the reflecting pond. The tent was the space for cocktail hour and the amazing “M & M” flower wall was the first thing guest would see when they walk in and grab their escort card for dinner later.

After cocktail hour, guests proceeded to the ceremony. The decor was BREATHTAKING.

Actually, breathtaking may be an understatement. The ballroom looked absolutely ethereal.

For dinner, Mallory and Murray offered a Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli appetizer.   For the main course, guests were offered a choice of Ribeye Cap Steak, Sous Vide Halibut or Vegan Orange Teriyaki “Chicken“.  They finished off the meal with one of our bakery’s beautiful cakes as well as mini ice cream cones, mini “S’morewiches” and Nutella & Banana grilled sandwiches.  Perfect!
