Real Wedding Spotlight: Meghan & Chris
Another fabulous wedding this past weekend at Saratoga National Golf Club. Despite the rain, this couple had a gorgeous black and white themed tent wedding that looked amazing.
Joe and JP Elario were here yet again (all of the photos below are from Elario Photography!!) along with Al Woodard on video, Mike Emery & the New York Players for entertainment, Shannon from Wedding Planning Plus, and Kris Ann from Fleurtacious who designed all of the gorgeous flowers. All-Star team!
The Famous Bridge Pic at Saratoga National Golf Club
The couple celebrated the ceremony at St. Brigit’s in Watervliet and then headed to SNGC for photos and cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed an array of delicious butler passed selections which included baby lamb chops, Thai chicken and cashew spring rolls, coconut chicken with pineapple salsa, mini lump crab cakes, asparagus and gruyere en croute, Italian basil and sausage stuffed mushrooms & open faced tea sandwiches. An extravagant raw bar and delicious pasta station kept guests busy and well fed during cocktail hour! Guests also enjoyed a lavish stationary tuscan display with fruits, cheeses, vegetables, olives, and more! There was also a yummy potato bar with garlic mashed potatoes and hearty steak fries served with assorted toppings which included crisp pancetta, herbed creme fraiche, scallions, aged sharp cheddar, whipped sea salt butter, caramelized onions, smoked Gouda, red and yellow tomatoes, flash fried leaks, house made fennel sausage, Gruyere mornay sauce and Gorgonzola…YUM!
Rain or Shine provided the tent rental and flooring which looked incredible! The couple provided menus for each place setting and table numbers that went with their theme as well. Picture perfect!
For the sit down dinner, guests enjoyed a salad course of organic bibb lettuce, haricot vert, Maytag bleu cheese and a champagne vinaigrette. A delicious entree duet of a grilled filet with garlic butter and scallop stuffed shrimp with roasted fingerling potatoes, buttered pencil asparagus and baby carrots was served to each guest.
The wedding cake from the Glen Sanders Mansion Bakery was a beautiful square pearl design with white cake, raspberry puree and raspberry mousse. A decadent dessert display was the perfect ending to the evening and guests enjoyed cordials, dessert shooters, cookies, pastries, and a chocolate fountain with sweet dipping treats!
