Thanksgiving Wedding: Gather Around the Table
Sure, many people do not think about celebrating Thanksgiving and their wedding combined.. but if you are looking to have a small, intimate wedding there are many many perks!!
You want to celebrate with your closest loved ones around the table for Thanksgiving. You and your fiance may have trouble deciding what family to celebrate this holiday with, or might even celebrate it separately! Join both of your families together and start your holiday season as one, large family!!
Here are the top three things that you could look forward to by planning an intimate Thanksgiving wedding:
1. As mentioned before, you have both families already surrounding you! Bringing family near and far could compose a great family reunion!! If you are looking to also have your best friends available for your big day, look for booking the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving.
2. COST– If you are looking to book a smaller wedding or a wedding at the end of November in general, it will be cheaper compared to a wedding in peak wedding season. There may be financial minimums still in place, but overall, your cost will be lowered! Serving a traditional Thanksgiving Feast may be cheaper than serving your guests filet mignon…who wants beef at Thanksgiving?!
3. The colors of Thanksgiving are beautiful if you are looking to host a fall wedding. Thanksgiving is one of the last times where colored leaves, reds, browns and golden tones are being used before the holiday season. The whole design of Thanksgiving is meant to bring a sense of warmth and coziness. Bring fall styled decor to the table, your flowers, and cocktails!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF OUR AISLE FILERS!
