Hot Trend: Creative Guest Book Ideas

One thing in common for all weddings is a guest book. But, long gone are the days where couples would leave a book on a table for all their guests to sign during cocktail hour.  Today, couples are finding craftier or more personalized ways for their guests to wish the newlyweds their well wishes!

Don’t just save the top tier of your wedding cake for your first anniversary, try saving an over-sized bottle of wine signed by all of your guests and pop it open on a special anniversary!

Sure the new thing at wedding receptions is to have your own hashtag for instagram photos, but try taking it old school with a Polaroid camera!  Leave a Polaroid camera on a small table with a decorative box or vase to collect your guests’ signed photos!  This is a fun idea for everyone and it’s also something fun to look back on in upcoming years!

This guest signature was a fabulous idea from an Elario Photography bride and groom this past summer that had their wedding at the Fasig Tipton in Saratoga Springs, NY!  Staying true to the theme of their wedding, they created a handmade replica of a quarter pole from the Saratoga Springs Race Track!  It’s totally an out of the box idea, and their guests loved it!
