Real Wedding Spotlight: Amanda & Shane
Amanda and Shane were married at The Hall of Springs on September 24th, 2011. What an amazing
wedding this was, we at Mazzone Hospitality are so excited to share this thanks to amazing photos by
Joe Elario Photography that help to relive the day!
The planning process can be a long and stressful one, but it should also be fun. Being an event planner herself, Amanda had a leg up on other brides, but having a wedding planner/coordinator for the day of, especially one as excellent as Christine Wheat can help keep things moving
smoothly and help you score some top notch vendors through her recommendations. Take this for
example, what could be better than dueling hair and makeup artists, the best of the best Make Me
Fabulous and Flawless by Tina!
What a great, close knit family Amanda and Shane have, you can see the love and the pride jumping off
the screen in these next few photos. Plus, I love the bold choice of different style and color bridesmaids
dresses with contrasting custom bouquets.
To say David Michael Schmidt of Renaissance Floral Design did a fabulous job just doesn’t say enough,
his creative genius made this wedding a show stopper. He always goes above and beyond to ensure
each and every detail is embodied, down to this awesome delivery vehicle that he personalized for the
day!!! I LOVE it!!
Getting married is nervewracking, I love Amanda’s expressions in these shots, nerves and relief, two
things every bride feels but few express. So genuine and beautiful!
Along with the amazing David Michael Schmidt and Clifton Park Rental Center, the staff at The Hall of
Springs, particularly Kevin, Mark, and Marianne did an amazing job transforming the room! So
unbelievably gorgeous and elegant!
Shane and Amanda’s reaction to the room in this shot is priceless- breathtaking!!
Where do 300 people have a cocktail hour at the Hall of Springs you might ask? Check out this crazy
tent on the reflecting pond- AWESOME!
Ok, the ground in Saratoga Spa State Park are always beautiful in the fall, but seriously, Big Joe, J.P. and
the crew at Elario Photography may have outdone themselves this time!! Every image is so beautiful it’s
hard to pick a favorite!
Now, if you thought this wedding was already out of this world, just you wait!! Anyone who has been to
Schenectady’s Little Italy knows that a trip isn’t completely without stopping at the famous Civitello’s for
pastry or lemon ice (seriously, if you haven’t been, go now!) Well, thanks to the girls at Civitello’s,
Angela, Rowe, and Bee the Hall of Springs was able to recreate Civitello’s inside complete with the
original sign and the booths from the shop!
After stopping in for coffee and pastries, guests headed out front for some more amazing Italian
favorites, zeppole, antipasti, you name it!
I can’t’ get over the place cards, menus, and stationary that Amanda and Shane had done at Paper Dolls, so simple and classic while being extremely elegant and understated!
And of course, what’s a party without great music?! Who other than The New York Players to rock out
an amazing night?
One of the things that I loved most about this wedding was Amanda’s dress- so absolutely gorgeous.
Debbie Coye, the cake master herself, created a cake that was an exact replica of the dress- so cool and
such a fun idea!
Of course, if you really want to see how this all happened, you have to check out the video sneak peek
by Al Woodard- what a gorgeous day for such an extravaganza! Check it out here.
And rounding out an amazing evening are these great shots from the Elario Photobooth on a sparkly
gold backdrop- Even Angelo Mazzone himself couldn’t contain the joy felt by everyone on Amanda and
Shane’s big day!
Congratulations Amanda and Shane! From all of us here at Mazzone Hospitality, we wish you many
years of happiness and joy!
