Say Yes to the Dress…at Glen Sanders!

Any of you blog readers fans of Say Yes to the Dress?  Well, you’re in for a treat with this one.  Recently, one of our couples, Lisa and Tim from NYC, celebrated their special day at The Glen Sanders Mansion and were filmed for TLC‘s hit show Say Yes to The Dress!

For those of you who are not familiar with the show, Say Yes to the Dress takes viewers behind the scenes to the the inner workings of Kleinfeld’s,  the famous bridal boutique in Manhattan.  We asked Lisa how she got to be on the show and about her experience at the store.  Tim’s best friend’s wife is the head of TLC’s Reality Department, so Lisa headed to Kleinfeld’s to find her perfect dress.  While she was there she got to work with seasoned bridal consultant (and my favorite from the show), Sarah Valasquez.

As one of the younger consultants on the show, Sarah has patience beyond her years.  She was also a recent bride herself and can relate to brides and understand what they are going through.  She is truly a people person and has been with Kleinfeld’s for the past two years.

So, I’m sure you’re all dying to see the dress up close and personal.  Well…the wait is over!

Heather Bohm Tallman was on the scene to snap all of these beautiful photos, Al Woodard was there to capture all the moments on video, and Kris Ann from Fleurtacious Designs did a marvelous job (as always( on flowers.  Check out these shots from the reception.

Glen Sanders Mansion Bakery did the Cake; the classic Opal  design, yummy!

Fernando from Piano Man had the dance floor full all night.  Here are some great shots from the first dance…

Lisa and her dad shared a fun and special moment at the end of their father daughter dance.

No word yet as to when Lisa and Tim’s episode of Say Yes to the Dress will air, but I will be sure to let you know as soon as we hear!

Congratulations Lisa and Tim!
